2.4GHZ VS 5GHZ

WIfi 2.4GHZ is the standard frequency, Cubot has given the Power 2.4GHZ and 5.GHZ, 5GHZ being a lower frequency is not as strong as 2.4 much like a lower voice being weaker than a high voice. The advantage 5.GHz frequencies have is in part because they are weaker they do not bump into each other like 2.4GHZ how many wifi signals does your laptop or phone pick up in your house? If you live in the city probably a few 5GHZ wifi does not travel as far so your device has clean access saving energy and producing faster data transfer. The downside is 5GHZ is much weaker and you have to be a lot closer to your device as in same room a couple of meters away.

A high-resolution screen that displays wonderfully as talked about in the review is great until it gets scratches. Gorilla Glass is a wonderful glass is resistant to impact and scratches it just happens that cubot have not incorporated it into the Power. The Accessory that best reduces the chances of scratches and impact damage is a screen protector.

A case is included but that does not mean you may not want to consider a new one. Firstly PU cases are a great option and the whole is where the camera is so you can take photos while using the phone.  Waterproof cases are a cool way to make a phone accessible underwater and given the fact that the cubot power is not waterproof a waterproof case becomes all the more useful.

Want More Memory?

Memory usage can be enhanced with accessories most obviously would be an SD card which comes with pitfalls mentioned in the review. Other options for increased storage would be cloud storage options. Maximum SD card capacity is 128GB and internal Power memory is 128GB.

In the review, one of the minor faults mentioned was no headphones were included in the accessories which is a shame given the Cubot Power features give it more options than most when selecting the type of headphones to use. Ulefone is releasing the there Ulefone X with Android 8.1 Oreo version, there Ulefone Power 3 comes with Android 7.1 Nougat Version. Ulefone did state that they were in the process of enabling the Power 3 with Android 8.1 via an update so the operating system advantage is temporary.
