Advantages of the newer X10 is its waterproof which definitely enhances the usability  of any phone. A key  selling point  of the X9 design was how thin it was and that is also true of the X10 but the X9 is slightly thinner. Screen is 5" on the  
X9 and  5.5 on the  X10. The Most influential alteration to the newer x cubot is the fact that it's waterproof. However being water proof does have a cost the battery cannot be removed for sealing purposes so a replacement is not an option. You may  argue that the X10 battery is bigger which is a fair point but then you have to factor in display size a larger display uses more power.
